Project Spotlight: Anchor Roofing Saves Thanksgiving

Anchor Roofing Completed This Storm Damage Roof Replacement in Time for Thanksgiving

Here at Anchor Roofing, our work is about much more than just repairing and replacing roofs. While we always love how the end result of a new roof looks on a home, the truly satisfying part of our job is when we’re able to make our customers happy. When it comes to this storm damage roof replacement, our team was able to delight this homeowner—just in time for the upcoming holiday season.

Our Project Spotlights blog series is our way of sharing our work with our readers and providing inspiration for their roofing projects. This home’s transformation is truly breathtaking, so be sure to stick around for the before and after photos!

Our Client: An Omaha Homeowner with an Eye for Detail

For this project, we worked with a first-time Anchor Roofing client residing in Omaha, in the Ponca Hills area. This client owns a kitchen remodeling company and has an eye for detail. She had recently bought a home, but the roof experienced storm damage during the recent (very busy!) hail season.

As she had recently purchased this home, our client wanted to ensure she got a long-lasting roof installed. She spent a lot of time researching Omaha roofers online and was ultimately swayed by our impressive reviews—so a big thank-you to our past customers for the kind words!

Before: A Roof with Significant Storm Damage

As you can see from the before images, this home had significant storm damage, with a number of hail impacts across the entire roofing system. The hail on the surface of the roof had resulted in significant granule loss, while the hail impacts to soft metals such as the home’s gutters were especially noticeable.

After: A New Roof and a New Look

Following the roof replacement and some new paint, the home got an all-new look—and an elegant black and white color scheme that makes you completely forget about the roof storm damage that was there before.

For the roofing system, our team installed CertainTeed Landmark ClimateFlex shingles in Moire Black. These shingles are highly storm-resistant, including Class 4 impact resistance that may help reduce this client’s insurance premiums in the future.

How Anchor Roofing Pulled It Off

While this may look like a straightforward roof replacement, Anchor Roofing pulled out a lot of stops to complete this project efficiently and deliver maximum value for this homeowner.

During the early stages of this project, our team made sure to complete a full inspection of the roof and walk the property with this client’s insurance adjuster.* We ensured no damage was overlooked and made it clear why the damage to this roof was due to a severe storm. Our team took steps to clearly mark hail impacts, and ultimately a roof replacement was approved by her carrier.

Once approved, we worked closely with the homeowner to get the perfect look for her home. Our client knew she wanted to paint the house a different color, but wasn’t sure what color she wanted. Our team scheduled a color consultation, and between her design eye and our visualization tools, she settled on a white and black house, with black shingles to tie in with the black trim on the home.

With the project wrapping up and painting completed near the end of September, this meant the entire transformation was done well in time for the holiday season. Our client was delighted with the final result, and we couldn’t be happier to help.
